Biological pesticides refer to the use of biological living organisms or their metabolites for pests, pathogens, weeds, nematodes, rodents, etc.

In terms of its use, biological pesticides are generally divided into two categories: the direct use of biological living organisms and the use of bio-active substances derived from organisms. However, in the practical application of agricultural production in China, bio-pesticides generally mainly refers to the large-scale industrial production of microbial pesticides.
